The Annerley Residence, located in the inner-city suburb of Annerley, is a private family home situated on a subdivided lot with a pre-1911 post-war origin. Navigating the constraints imposed by pre-1911 council regulations presented inherent challenges, shaping the architectural approach.

The design articulates a refined spatial strategy, employing double-height voids to amplify spatial perception, enhance natural illumination, and facilitate passive cross-ventilation. The architectural composition establishes a clear demarcation between the historical fabric of the existing home and the new interventions, employing a contrasting material palette and form to preserve and accentuate the character of the original structure.
